FROM DR SHELLY: One of my favorite professional roles is teaching-training-mentoring and I am excited to offer an opportunity to work with me in an ongoing way in this capacity. The Sankofa Practitioner Circle aims to co-create an intentional and communal space of learning and development for healers and helping/health professionals, community practitioners, program developers (and students!) who resonate strongly with Sankofa Theory & Practice. The vision is to provide opportunities for studying, experiencing, healing, and growing together from the ground of Sankofa Theory & Practice. This community seeks to nurture the development of a Sankofa Practitioner community, people in diverse settings who apply Sankofa Theory and Practice in their work. If this speaks to you, read on for details!

This is not a community where we are trying to get as many people as possible to join. Our priority is cultivating and maintaining a learning community where the experience is positive, meaningful, relevant to your work, and in the service of our higher purposes and callings. We ask that all potential members complete a screening questionnaire so that we can be as confident as possible that community members share these priorities.
