Dr. Shelly Harrel created this course for grounding, resourcing, healing, and connection. She offered it a number of times in 2020, within the context of profound loss and change brought on by the COVID-19 and ongoing racism pandemics. In 2021 we’re continuing to grieve, heal, and free ourselves from the grasp of these pandemics. Join Dr. Shelly Harrell and learn (or relearn!) basic mindfulness practices that focus on liberation of the mind, body, heart, and soul. The course is rooted in the Vipassana insight meditation tradition and is delivered with a soulful vibe that reflects an African diasporic sensibility and diverse cultural resources.
